Mr. Jitender Kumar, Coordinator IQAC, read
the minutes of the previous meeting.
2. Preparation
for NAAC
Sh. M.R. Lamba, Chairman IQAC stressed that
all the heads of the departments should compile their activities carried out in
the last five sessions by the respective departments. The Chairman laid emphasis
on the issue that the incharges of various activities should undertake the same
so that they are completed well in time. They were also advised to keep a neat
and clean record of the activities performed during the last five sessions. All
the faculty members should keep the record ready of all the information for
prepration of SSR of the college.
3. Participation of the College in
NIRF/AISHE/RUSA/PRAYAAS
The Chairman, IQAC exhorted all the Incharges
of various activities to prepare and submit the information and DATA related to
them to Dr. Neetu Sharma, NAAC Incharge for onward submission.
4. Feedback
on Syllabi and Institution
The Chairman, IQAC stressed that feedback may
be obtained from the students and the staff on syllabi and the institution.
5. Special
Focus on Activities Related to Women Empowerment
Sh. M.R. Lamba, Chairman, IQAC further
stressed the need to accelerate the activities pertaining to the girl students
of the college. He also drew the attention of the house towards the issue of
gender sensitisation that it should be enlarged to cover even the male students
as well.
6. Preparation
and submission of Research Projects for funding
The Chairman, IQAC desired that maximum
number of faculty members should apply for minor and major research projects to
the funding agencies. The Chairman further emphasised that IQAC should conduct
workshops to train the faculty members for preparation of good research
proposal and submission thereof to different agencies.

emphasized the need to prepare for assessment of the college by ensuing NAAC
inspection Team. He further exhorted the members of the non-teaching staff that
they should make available clear, complete and accurate information pertaining
to their respective departments/activities. They were also required to dispose
of the matters pertaining to the directorate and the university.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION MEETING
WITH
INTERNAL
QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)
A
meeting of Alumni Association chaired by Principal-cum-Chairman Sh. M.R. Lamba,
with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was held on 21.03.2022 at 01:00
p.m. in the College Hall. The minutes of the meeting is as under :-
The meeting started with the welcome address
of the Chair. After that Jitender Kumar, Co-ordinator of IQAC read out the
minutes of the previous meeting and apprised the house of the ongoing academic,
infrastructural and other developmental activities in the college. The Alumni
suggested that some other post-graduate courses i.e. M.A. Economics and M.Sc
Chemistry may be started in the college and requested the Chairman to initiate
the process for the same. The Chairman assured the members that all efforts
would be made for starting PG course in Economics and Chemistry subjects. The
Chairman thanked the house for their valuable suggestions and hoped that active
cooperation would continue in the future also.

The timely
submission of the AQAR is crucial for the third cycle of NAAC accreditation, as
it reflects the institution’s commitment to quality education and continuous
improvement. By following a structured approach to data collection, report
preparation, and timely submission, the college can ensure a successful
accreditation process and maintain its reputation for academic excellence. Sh. M.R. Lamba, Chairman IQAC constitute the
committee to collect and submit the data and all the heads of the departments
should compile their activities carried out in the last year by the respective
departments and submit the committee.
3. Participation of the College in
NIRF/AISHE/RUSA/PRAYAAS
The Chairman, IQAC exhorted all the Incharges
of various activities to prepare and submit the information regarding NIRF/AISHE/RUSA/PRAYAAS
for onward submission. The participation of the college in NIRF (National
Institutional Ranking Framework), AISHE (All India Survey on Higher Education),
RUSA (Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan), and PRAYAAS aims to enhance the
institution's academic standards, infrastructure, and overall quality of
education. This initiative will also ensure that the college is aligned with
national benchmarks and receives necessary support and recognition.
4. Student
Induction Plan for the first year students
The Student Induction Program is designed to
help first-year students transition smoothly into college life, understand the
academic environment, and foster a sense of belonging to the institution. The
program will introduce students to the college's ethos, culture, academic
practices, and available resources. The Chairman, IQAC stressed to introduce
the Student Induction Plan for the first year students.
5. Co-Curricular Activities by different Clubs & Societies
Sh. M.R. Lamba, Chairman, IQAC focus to
direct to all the staff members to accelerate the activities pertaining to the Co-Curricular
Activities by different Clubs & Societies of the college. The objective of
organizing co-curricular activities through various clubs and societies is to
promote holistic development among students by providing them opportunities to
explore their interests, develop skills, and engage in meaningful experiences
outside the academic curriculum. The co-curricular activities organized by
various clubs and societies aim to complement the academic learning of students
by providing them platforms to develop diverse skills, foster creativity, and
build a sense of community. These activities not only enhance the personal
growth of students but also prepare them for future challenges by promoting
teamwork, leadership, and social responsibility.

about preparation to conduct the NAAC Inspection. All the members suggested to
prepare for the binary scheme for NAAC accreditation. The Chairman laid
emphasis on early process for the same.
3. To demolish
the old and unused building of hostel of the college and write off
unserviceable items
The Chairman, IQAC exhorted all the Incharges
of various Departments to prepare the list of unserviceable items and submit
the same in the office. The house is also agreed to demolish the old and unused
building of hostel of the college for safety and security purpose.
4. To purchase
online UPS and the demand of 80 computers for B.C.A. Lab
The house bring the attention regarding
urgent requirement of online UPS for Computer Labs. and 80 computers for the
B.C.A. Lab in the college. The purchase of these items is crucial to ensure
uninterrupted power supply and to adequately equip the lab. The online UPS will
help in maintaining consistent power for the systems, safeguarding against
potential power disruptions that can cause data loss or hardware damage.
Additionally, the demand for 80 computers is to meet the increasing number of
students enrolling in the B.C.A. program, ensuring each student has access to a
dedicated workstation.
5. Special

The Incharge, Building
of the college bring the notice of the house that the auditorium of the
college is in need of urgent repairs. The current state of the auditorium is
not conducive to holding events or functions, as it has several issues that
need to be addressed, including repairing of the windows and doors. The house
requested the Chairman to take necessary steps to initiate the repair work at
the earliest, ensuring the auditorium is restored to a fully functional state.
3. To conduct
Academic and Administrative Audit
Sh. M.R. Lamba, Chairman, IQAC directed
to initiate the process of Academic and Administrative Audit of the college.
This audit is essential to assess and improve the quality of academic programs
and administrative processes. Conducting this audit will help identify areas
for improvement, enhance overall efficiency, and ensure that we are in
compliance with the relevant standards and guidelines. Therefore, the necessary
arrangements be made to conduct the audit at the earliest convenience.
4. To
conduct Periodical Inspection of the college by the university
Sh. M.R. Lamba, Chairman, IQAC further informed
the house that the college requirs, a periodical inspection of the college in accordance
with the university's regulations. Therefore, the necessary arrangements be
made to conduct the periodical inspection at the earliest convenience.
5. Prepration of NAAC Accreditations under
Binary system
Sh. M.R. Lamba, Chairman IQAC informed
the house that the college is in the process of preparing for the upcoming NAAC
accreditation under the binary system. The house understand the importance of
this accreditation in maintaining the institution's academic standards and
enhancing overall educational quality. All the staff members are diligently
working on all the necessary documentation, data collection, and quality
enhancements required for the accreditation process. The Internal Quality
Assurance Cell (IQAC) is actively coordinating with all departments to ensure
that we meet the criteria set forth by NAAC.

Action Taken Report 2023-2024
1.
Student Induction Plan was conducted to
familiarize students with the scheme and facilities of the college.

API scores of many teachers of
the college were assessed and verified
by IQAC through an appraisal of their contribution to the institute and
other UGC parameters.

Activities in the college.

10. Many
teachers attended ONLINE short term course on NEP-PDP on Samarth Platform

the meeting of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) held on 12.08.2024 at 12:30
p.m. in the Principal Office. The minutes of the meeting is as under :-

Presentation of Action Taken Report:
The IQAC Action Taken Report for the session 2023-24 was presented.
2.
Timeline for IQAR Submission: The
timeline for the submission of the IQAR for the session 2023-2024 was fixed on
or before 25.08.2024.
3.
Lease Line Service: It was discussed
and decided to seek permission from the Department for the installation of a
Lease Line service.
4.
Student Attendance Improvement:
Efforts will be made to increase student attendance by 5% compared to the
previous session.
5.
Smart Classroom Utilization: The
maximum utilization of Smart Classrooms will be ensured, and all classrooms
will be made fully functional.
6.
Workshops/Webinars: The college will
conduct workshops and webinars on topics such as NAAC Accreditation, Research
Methodology, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and Gender Sensitization.
7.
Alumni Participation: The participation
of alumni members will be promoted for the collection of funds for student
welfare.
8.
Research and Publications: Staff
members will be encouraged to utilize INFLIBNET services to enhance their
research, with an expectation that at least one paper will be published in a
UGC-enlisted journal during the session 2024-25.
9.
MoUs with Industries/Firms/Institutions:
The promotion of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with industries, firms,
and institutions will be prioritized.
10. Establishment
of Computer Labs: The establishment of two new computer labs was
discussed and approved.
11. Feedback
Collection: Feedback will be taken from students, parents, and alumni
to improve various aspects of the college.
12. API
Verification for Teachers: The API (Academic Performance Indicators)
of the teachers will be considered and verified.
