Library of Government College
• The library is the cornerstone of any educational institution. In the modern age, having a collection of high-quality and current books in a library is essential for steering the younger generation towards a successful future.
• The Government College library boasts an extensive collection of 41,184 books. It has been established as the college's knowledge center and is fully computerized with SOUL 3.0 software. To cater to student needs, a diverse selection of quality newspapers, magazines, and study materials is provided.
• The library's reading hall regularly receives 18 national and state-level newspapers and magazines. Additionally, the college offers E-Resource facilities. The library is subscribed to the N-List program, granting access to over 6,150 e-resources and 199,536 e-books.
• Moreover, the library subscribes to three journals and is linked with the National Digital Library and E-Granthalaya (an e-library initiative by the Higher Education Department). These resources enable students to continue their studies through video lectures, with recorded classes available for all subjects.
• The college's reading hall is well-organized and fully equipped, providing an ideal environment for learning. The library's efficient operation and management are overseen by Dr. Ashok Kumar, the In-Charge of the Library.
